Tell your friends … Reach out to your local small businesses!!
“Do what you do well so that they will see it and want to bring their friends.” −Walt Disney
Think Big. Shop Small.® Tell Your Friends. It Works.
Folks told their friends about that cute little mouse dancing up there on the screen. Walt Disney knew a thing or two about word-of-mouth marketing. So here’s Small Business Saturday. Celebrated this year on Saturday, November 24th, Small Business Saturday helps kick off the holiday shopping blitz, encourages people to explore the creative originality local small shops offer – and to support the entrepreneurs who took the giant leap to follow their dreams. On its website, the SBA encourages everyone to join with the agency and local organizations to celebrate Small Business Saturday to support local small businesses.
Keep Talking. It’s good for Business
It’s a given. Small businesses need more than one good day a year to survive. Small Business Saturday gives you an opportunity to reach out to small business owners in your community. Follow up with events and communications about SBA loans and the agency’s resources to help small businesses. Even better, consider including SBA lending in your strategic planning for 2019 and beyond.
SBA lending is a great opportunity to expand your business lending portfolio. For your existing relationships a small business loan gives them another reason to stay with you. For new prospects, attracting them with a small business loan could lead to a long-term relationship.
Let’s keep the conversation going!
