NAGGL’S SPRING CONFERENCE. We’re heading to Atlanta this month for what looks to be a dynamite Spring Conference. NAGGL is always a key gathering place for 7(a) lenders, SBA leadership and federal officials — and a great opportunity to get the latest scoop all things SBA. As a founding NAGGL member and long-time exhibitor, we’re eagerly anticipating to again join the NAGGL in-person experience. And as consultants, delving into the regulatory and legislative issues affecting SBA lenders positions our JRB Team to better serve our clients across the country. If you’re attending NAGGL Atlanta in person, stop by Booth #36. We look forward to meeting you and discussing how our JRB Team can enhance your SBA lending program. See you in Atlanta!
SBA’s NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS WEEK 2022. It’s almost here. And already it’s more than a week long. Small Business Week has always been a major SBA Initiative, and no more so than this year, when it’s been in high gear for weeks. Celebrations kicked off weeks ago with the naming of every state’s Small Business Person of the Year. And SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman has jetted from state-to-state, highlighting SBA programs and honoring leading small business owners across the country.
To Be Continued … Administrator Guzman will visit nine cities across the country on the “Building a Better America Through Entrepreneurship” Bus Tour, May 2-5, joining SBA local offices and elected officials to honor America’s small businesses, along with a Virtual Summit May 2-5, and webinars and online events across the country.
Importantly, Small Business Week presents opportunities for SBA lenders. Let National Small Business Week jumpstart your outreach to the small business owners among your account holders and in your community. We’ve seen lenders follow up Small Business Week with marketing campaigns featuring their SBA loan products. Some have hosted early-morning coffees or in-branch events educating business owners about the advantages of SBA lending. All great ways to help local small businesses, boost your local economy and add to your bottom line.
